Student Advising

Your first stop should be a visit to your advisor. If you're not sure who your advisor is, call your major department.
Be sure to visit the University's advising Web site, BroncoCompass.
Petitions: Most petitions (including drop petitions and general academic petitions) need the approval of the major department chair and the College Dean. After obtaining departmental approval, take your petition to the Dean's Office (5-158) and leave it with the receptionist. Students wishing to appeal the (sit-out) consequences of a disqualification should obtain a Disqualification Appeal Student Information Sheet form from the Registrar's Office, then proceed to seek Department and College approval.
