Political Science Minor

You should declare a minor as soon as you finish the last course requirement needed to earn the minor.  Many students wait until just before they graduate and there is a “mad rush” and some students do not get the paperwork in to the Registrar on time so they lose the opportunity of having the minor noted on their transcripts.  You declare the minor on the official Cal Poly Form entitled “Request for Award of Minor.”  Your GPA in all the courses used for the minor must average 2.0. over the 28 credit hours required for the minor.
