The Cal Poly Salsa Band is a small ensemble focusing primarily on Afro-Cuban music, dance and vocal traditions as they have evolved in the last 75 years. The Band performs frequently on campus and in the community providing an opportunity for instrumentalists and vocalists to experience the variety within the style and to educate the audience about the music called Salsa. Membership is open to instrumentalists, vocalists and dancers wanting to learn more about performing Salsa.
