KINESIOLOGY AND HEALTH PROMOTION

| MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: |
Bachelor's degree required (by date of application); Master's degree preferred. Persons with appropriate professional background and/or credentials or individuals currently enrolled in terminal degree program will be given preference. Wide variety of teaching expertise in activity areas and Kinesiology discipline preferred. Graduate students will be given preference in teaching. Ability to teach undergraduate courses in pedagogy or sports medicine would be a positive attribute. |
| NOTE: | Interested persons must submit a completed application form, letter of intent, curriculum vitae, an official transcript showing highest degree earned (from an accredited educational institution), and three (3) recent letters of reference (Within the past 2 years). |
| TEACHING AREAS: |
Candidates should have the ability to teach one or more of the following activities: Activities: Aerobics, Aikido, Archery, Badminton, Basketball,
Golf, Gymnastics, Jogging, Karate, Racquetball, Scuba (Basic), Soccer,
Social Dance, Softball, Springboard Diving, Swimming, Tennis, Tumbling
and Trampoline, Volleyball, Weight Training. |
| APPOINTMENTS: | Part-time temporary lecturer appointments are usually made for one academic quarter only (approximately 11 weeks at fractions usually ranging from 4/15 to 12/15 of full-time; multiple quarter appointments are sometimes possible). Incumbents may be reappointed to subsequent quarters contingent upon funding and favorable performance evaluations. |
