Departmental Advisors
Students are strongly encouraged to consult their advisor at least once each quarter. The department plans to put an advising hold on the Bronco Direct accounts of all students in the Spring quarter of their junior year. A visit to your advisor will remove this hold. Check your Bronco Direct account regularly.
If you are an entering freshman, new transfer student, or thinking about becoming a History major, you should meet with Amanda Podany, the department chair.
Feel free to discuss your academic progress with any faculty member. Officially, we assign advisors to majors alphabetically.

All students of Track II (Pre-Credential/History Social Science Track) should consult with Dr. Judith Anderson at the start of their senior year.
At Risk Students (those whose GPA is at or below 2.2), those who are part of the "Four-Year Pledge" program, and those who receive Veterans benefits or are part of the ROTC program should meet with Amanda Podany.
