John Moore is Professor of History
at Cal Poly Pomona, Director of the Douglass Adair Symposia: Studies
of Constitutional Democracy, Faculty Advisor for Cal Poly Pomona's
National Model United Nations program, and Faculty Advisor for
the History Club and Cal Poly Pomona's chapter of Phi Alpha Theta,
the history honorary society. He teaches a number of courses in
American History and occasionally courses in World History, and
has recently completed co-authoring his eighth book, To Create
A New World: American Presidents and the United Nations, Peter
Lang Publishers, 1999. During the Winter and Spring of 1999, Professor
Moore was the senior Fulbright Scholar/Lecturer at the University
of Tampere, Finland.
