ABOUT US

The Psychology and Sociology Department's Ennis W. Cosby Friendmobile is a refurbished motor home, originally donated by the McDonald's Corporation, that provides free on-site testing for emotional and behavioral problems, learning disabilities and developmental delays for economically disadvantaged children, aged 3-18 in Los Angeles County. On Wednesday and Thursday afternoons, the Friendmobile is at the Cal Poly Pomona Downtown Center.

Former President Bob Suzuki named the Friendmobile in honor of Ennis W. Cosby, son of Bill and Camille Cosby, in recognition of the many contributions made to Cal Poly Pomona by the Cosby family. Ennis W. Cosby, who died tragically in 1997 at the age of 27, had devoted his life to helping children with learning differences.
