The Cal Poly Pomona Downtown Center exists to serve the Pomona community and to be a center of service learning and outreach for the student, faculty, and staff of the University. The Cal Poly Pomona Downtown Center's purpose is to provide a forum for the University to bring education and applied knowledge to downtown Pomona, thereby contributing to the economic revitalization of the city. In turn, the campus receives an ongoing education in the realities and issues faced by the City of Pomona. This collaborative university-community partnership fosters a spirit of creativity,
experimentation, diversity, and lifelong learning.
