Cal Poly Pomona: Downtown Center

The Cal Poly Pomona Downtown Center has three galleries for fine arts exhibitions. Openings for gallery exhibitions occur every 2nd Saturday of the month.

Artists wishing to exhibit must submit a written proposal with slides to the Downtown Center Coordinator, call 909-469-0080 for information. The Exhibition Proposal Form can be downloaded and faxed to 909-469-0174.

Studio Theater

This professional, fully functional theatre holds a maximum audience capacity of ninety. This theatre features full light and sound, projector and 9' x 12' screen, and DVD/VHS capabilities.

The Cal Poly Pomona Downtown Center's Studio Theatre is available for rental by performing arts organizations. Rentals for one-time engagements may be arranged through the Downtown Center Coordinator.

Organizations wishing to rent the theatre for full-scale productions or longer runs must submit a proposal that will be reviewed by the Cal Poly Pomona Downtown Center Advisory Board. Multipurpose Room

The Multipurpose Room is appropriate for meetings, conferences, discussions and debates, classes and special functions. The space measures 28 feet by 33 feet 5 inches. There is a maximum seating capacity of sixty and maximum standing capacity of ninety.

The Multipurpose Room is available for rental. Short-term usage may be arranged through the Downtown Center Coordinator or phone: 909-469-0080.
