CAL POLY POMONA DOWNTOWN CENTER GALLERY PRESENTS
FEMININE WISDOM a Woman's History Month Exhibit

Who:

A plethora of local women artists are featured in this exhibit; and some international ones too. There will be the exhibit sites the Downtown Center and two annexes; the Pomona Central Library (main branch 625 W. Garey Ave., Pomona) and the Bronco Exhibit Gallery (Bronco Student Center 3801 W. Temple Ave.)

What:

The March/April 2006 exhibit at the Cal Poly Pomona Downtown center features a long list of seasoned female artists, who gather with this exhibit to explore and celebrate women's wisdom and the passing of that wisdom from woman to woman, generation to generation. There will be an artists panel in conjunction with the event, and live jazz music at the opening reception.

When:

Saturday, March 11, thru April 22. Opening reception is March 11 6p.m. - 9p.m. Second reception is Saturday April 8, 6p.m. - 9p.m.

Where:

Cal Poly Pomona Downtown Center 300 W. Second Street, in Pomona, the Pomona Central Library (main branch 625 W. Garey Ave., Pomona) and the Bronco Exhibit Gallery (Bronco Student Center 3801 W. Temple Ave.)

Why:

Visit the Cal Poly Pomona Downtown Center, located in the heart of the Pomona Arts Colony- the opening reception is held in conjunction with the Arts Colony's Second Saturday Artwalk event with free gallery openings, live music, shops and restaurants all in a 6 block radius.

Ticketing:

Both the reception and the exhibit are open to the public, free of charge.
