Cal Poly Pomona
CLASS Welcomes Alumni Professors - May 8, 2003

Principal of John Burroughs High School and
History Alumnus Emilio Urioste with his
faculty host, Dr. Dick Johnson.

Twenty-seven CLASS alumni returned to campus on Thursday, May 8, 2003, to participate in what has become one of our favorite events, "Alumni Professor for a Day." The alumni signed on, with the support of their faculty hosts, to take a turn at being the teacher in a wide variety of classes throughout our college.

This university-wide program provides a great opportunity for alumni to reconnect with their former professors and old friends, as well as to share views and experiences with future alumni. Students enjoy the glimpse our visitors present of life beyond the university, and of the many career options that await graduates equipped with a Cal Poly Pomona education.

In case you missed it, "Professor for a Day" will be back on Wednesday, October 29, 2003, and we'd love to see you there! Please call for details, at
(909) 869-3500.
