Must commit to 8-10 hours per week in Winter Quarter.

Enroll in CLS 499-01. This is a 4-unit course and will meet MW and every other Friday 9am-12.

Obtain a letter of recommendation from a Cal Poly Professor

Interview with Internship Selection Committee
Application
The program allows student interns to work closely with a judicial officer in
the Los Angeles County Superior Court system. Interns will be permitted to
observe trials and other legal proceedings, both civil and criminal and to
discuss their observations with a judge or other judicial officer. Interns will
be exposed to various parts of the legal process, including the district attorney's
office, family law court, public defenders, and juvenile court.
Duties Required of Interns:
Interns must:
- Be willing to commit 8-10 hours per week to the internship during
- Winter Quarter, 2007
- Enroll in CLS 499-01 for Winter Quarter, 2007. This is a 4-unit course and will
- be scheduled for MW 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. (noon)
- Keep a written record of activities associated with the internship
- Submit a paper at the end of the quarter
