Teacher Appreciation Tea 5/4/2006

The Academy for Literacy through the Arts hosts a Teacher Appreciation Tea in May.  Local teachers are invited to the Cal Poly Pomona Downtown Center for an afternoon of appreciation, tea sandwiches, luscious desserts, and door prizes.  In May of 2006, teachers were also given an opportunity to apply for “book grants”, in which they were awarded new children’s books to give to their students.
