Membership
The Committee has one representative from each department and
the Institute for New Dance and Cultures. The Associate Dean
serves as co-chair and liaison to the Dean of the College. The
Committee will elect a faculty co-chair at the first or second
regular meeting in Fall Quarter of each year. Departments should
select a member for the next academic year in the Spring Quarter
of each year. The Dean's Office should be notified of this selection
by June 1.
Meeting
Schedule
The Committee meets on Wednesdays from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30
p.m. The frequency of meeting is determined by the co-chairs.
Charge
of the Committee
The Committee is charged with advising the Dean on policies
related to curriculum proposals. Policies may be initiated by
the Committee of they maybe be brought to the Committee by the
Dean. Generally speaking, issues of relevance to the Committee
are all curriculum initiatives generated by the academic departments.
