FACULTY POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT
PART-TIME/TEMPORARY LECTURERS

DEPARTMENT:	PHILOSOPHY
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:	M.A./M.S. in Philosophy or Religion required (by date of application); ABD or Ph.D. preferred. College level teaching experience preferred.
NOTE:	Interested persons must submit a completed application form, curriculum vitae, an official transcript showing highest degree earned (from an accredited educational institution), and three (3) recent letters of reference (Within the past 2 years).
TEACHING AREAS:	Introduction to Philosophy, Critical Thinking, Ethics, Business Ethics, The Philosophy of Love and Sex.
APPOINTMENTS:	Part-time, temporary lecturer appointments are usually made for one academic quarter only (approximately 11 weeks at fractions usually ranging from 4/15 to 12/15 of full-time; multiple quarter appointments are sometimes possible). Incumbents may be reappointed to subsequent quarters contingent upon funding and favorable performance evaluations.
