| MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: | (Required and Preferred
Education, Knowledge and Abilities, Experience) B.A., (required by date of application) M.A., M.F.A. or Ph.D. or professional experience preferred. Teaching and production experience required also the ability to function in a collegial manner in an intensive, production-oriented undergraduate department. The Department of Theatre's curriculum includes beginning and advanced acting, design and technical theatre, as well as directing and history. Candidates must have demonstrated the ability to be responsive to the educational equity goals of the university and it's increasing ethnic diversity and international character. |

Interested persons must submit a completed application form, curriculum vitae, an official transcript showing highest degree earned (from an accredited educational institution), and three (3) recent letters of reference (Within the past 2 years). |
| TEACHING AREAS: |
The proven ability to teach courses such as Theatre History, Introduction to the Theatre, and Introduction to Acting (for non-majors) is highly desirable. |
| APPOINTMENTS: | Part-time, temporary lecturer appointments are usually made for one academic quarter only (approximately 11 weeks at fractions usually ranging from 4/15 to 12/15 of full-time; multiple quarter appointments are sometimes possible). Incumbents may be reappointed to subsequent quarter's contingent upon funding and favorable performance evaluations. |
