Budget Advisory and Planning Committee Meetings
Membership
The BAPC has on representative from each department or degree offering unit. The departments select or elect their representative during the Spring Quarter for the next academic year. The Committee is led by the Dean and an elected faculty memeber as the co-chair.
Meeting Schedule
The Committee meets every 2nd and 4th Thursday from 3:00 - 4:30 pm.
Charge of the Committee
- Review strategic plans for recommendation to the Dean
- Allocate President's travel funding for faculty including setting policies and procedures.
- Review department budget requests as they are presented for funding and set priorities.
- Review faculty recruitment requests and recommend priorities, especially the Five Year Plans.
- Set a calendar for accomplishing these tasks.
