Alumni Chapter
The College of Letters, Arts, and Social Sciences (C.L.A.S.S.) alumni chapter was established to bring together alumni from the different majors of the college in support of Cal Poly Pomona and to promote inter-departmental exchanges and opportunities for alumni to network and experience the broad spectrum of culture offered at the university and in its community.
During the past few years, the C.L.A.S.S. alumni chapter has sponsored concerts at the Hollywood Bowl, dinner and a play (featuring Cal Poly Pomona’s own theatre department’s main stage productions), dinner at the Magic Castle and special receptions at the Cal Poly Pomona Downtown Center. The C.L.A.S.S. alumni chapter is also the proud sponsor of an endowed scholarship. The endowed scholarship was made possible by donations from our own members. Three scholarships have been awarded during the last two years to students who exemplify service, meritorious scholarship, and activism. The C.L.A.S.S. chapter is proud to assist students at Cal Poly Pomona to achieve their dreams of obtaining an undergraduate degree in the field of their choice.
We look forward to creating new and exciting events to draw C.L.A.S.S. alumni back to campus and experience all that the university has to offer. We are also looking for new members to assist with the creation and coordination of C.L.A.S.S. chapter activities. If you are interested in becoming an active member of the C.L.A.S.S. chapter board, please contact Jill Escoto by e-mail. And, if you haven’t yet joined the Cal Poly Pomona Alumni Association, we hope that you will send in your membership right away and indicate that you would like to be a member of the C.L.A.S.S. alumni chapter!
